Columbia Sportswear’s newest international flagship retail experience recently opened on iconic Carnaby Street in London. The 3,000 square foot, two-level environment was developed in collaboration with Columbia’s global retail team and 2Hemispheres’ consumer experience design group. The two levels of the space were connected by a dimensional history wall along the staircase, featuring archival product, advertising, graphics, and digital media. The upper level features an open product gallery including footwear and apparel, and is anchored by a dwell-lounge with media and a highly detailed dimensional map showcasing Columbia’s partnership with UK National Parks. The lower level contained trail-specific product as well as an interactive ranger station to highlight the features of region.
